Popping In To Say Hello

Here's the deal. While I would much rather write you a nice new post about my holiday season, it's going to have to wait. I have reading and 20 pages to write to finish off my last class (more on this later, maybe) and it has to be done before tomorrow ends. (Yes, I know, it's not possible, why didn't you do it earlier, etc. Either shoot me and save me the trouble of trying or keep it to yourself, please.)

So, this is just a short update to let you know that, as of right now, I am planning on flying to Shannon, Ireland on January 2nd. I will then be continuing to Galway, Ireland and spending a semester there. I put too much work into designing this blog and agonizing over whether or not it was even worth it to start a new one (no one wants to read what you write, you don't do anything worthwhile, etc, versus BUT I WANT TO WRITE) to give it up now. However, I don't really want to have to censor everything I say because my school and my family are reading it too. (I guess I don't really know who reads this... apparently only two people so far) But since one of my options for my while-abroad assignment is to keep a blog and because I don't have the time (or the interest) to write individual updates for everyone asking for them (sorry guys, I want to actually see Ireland and not spend the whole time glued to my e-mail) I have made a travel blog here. It will be my principle blog while I'm gone (which will be about 5 months... again assuming I get to go/stay). Depending on how things go and how much I have to edit out of my accounts, I very well might post different or more complete versions here on this blog where I am not directing my family or friends I don't necessarily want reading this. I also might randomly stop by here just for fun. Bear with me and have a wonderful 2011. I hope your new year starts better than mine.
